Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the ideaclyst.com website and the information presented here. By using this website you agree to them.
1. Provider
This website is operated by Thorsten Meyer, Blombergstraße 11 C, 82393 Iffeldorf, Germany ("we", "us"). Full provider details are in the Impressum.
2. About the website and software
ideaclyst.com presents information about IdeaClyst, a local-first software tool that orchestrates a structured "council" between the Claude and Codex command-line tools to turn product ideas into planning documents. The website is informational. The software itself, where made available, is provided separately and may be subject to its own license terms.
3. No warranty
This website and any IdeaClyst software are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Outputs generated by the council (strategies, architectures, plans, prompts) are produced by third-party AI models and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. You are responsible for independently evaluating any output before relying on it for business, technical, financial, or legal decisions.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, including by attempting to disrupt its operation, gain unauthorized access, or use it in violation of applicable law.
5. Third-party services
IdeaClyst relies on third-party tools and services, including the Claude (Anthropic) and Codex (OpenAI) command-line interfaces, and links to third parties such as GitHub. We are not responsible for those services, and your use of them is governed by their respective terms and policies.
6. Intellectual property
The name "IdeaClyst", the content, design, and graphics on this website are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit them beyond what the law permits without prior written consent, except where separate open-source license terms apply to the software.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website or any IdeaClyst output. Statutory liability — in particular for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and under the German Product Liability Act — remains unaffected.
8. Changes
We may amend these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time of your visit applies.
9. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
